Touched by Autism in Kona Gold

ARCADIA, Calif. (May 17, 2017) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Touched by Autism in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Kona Gold Stakes at Santa Anita.

Touched by Autism is by Sierra Sunset, out of the Beau Genius mare Beau’s Gem, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Johnny Taboada and is trained by Marcia Stortz.

The $2,700 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $149,928 and is coming off a fifth in a Mar. 31 optional claimer.
