Tribal Gal Scores Orange County Win

CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2014) – Tribal Gal, an Arizona-bred daughter of the late California stallion Tribal Rule, scored a game win in Sunday’s $75,250 Orange County Stakes for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos.

Tribal Gal is out of the Western Fame mare Famous Gal, was bred by owner John Pendergast and is trained by Kory Owens.

She has eight wins in 19 starts, earnings of $301,505 and was coming off a win in the June 28 Oak Tree Distaff.

Tribal Gal ran the six furlongs in 1:08.73 and won by one-half length as the 6-5 favorite in the field of six.
