Tribal Spy in Tranquility Lake

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 28, 2014) – Graded winner Tribal Spy and fellow California-breds Spring Bloom and Journey On are entered in Sunday’s $90,000 Tranquility Lake Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.

Tribal Spy is by Tribal Rule, out of the Victory Gallop mare Victory Spy, was bred by Gary Barber, is owned by Triple B Farms and trained by Adam Kitchingman. She has six wins in 17 starts, earnings of $311,924 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 8 Daisycutter.

Spring Bloom is by After Market, out of the Bertrando mare Spring Festival, was bred by Pam & Marty Wygod, is owned by RG Racing Stables and is trained by Rafael Becerra. She has four wins in 18 starts, earnings of $223,650 and is coming off a third in an Aug. 14 allowance.

Journey On is an also-eligible by Good Journey, out of the American Chance mare Miss Del Mar, was bred by Leatherman Racing, is owned by Neil Haymes and Robert Master and is trained by Richard Baltas. She has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $157,160 and is coming off an eighth in an Aug. 7 optional claimer.
