Tribal Tribute in Derby Try

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 30, 2012) – Tribal Tribute is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $300,000 Grade II Del Mar Derby for 3-year-olds.

Tribal Tribute is by Tribal Rule, out of the Eastern Echo mare Clarify, was bred by K&J Farm, is owned by Ken Heidt and trained by Tim McCanna.

He has three wins in six starts, earnings of $66,332 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 4 Robert Dupret Derby.
