ALBANY, Calif. (May 1, 2016) – California stallion Unusual Heat was represented by three winners on the nine-race card at Golden Gate.
Unusual Storm, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Storm Queen, won the first race, a $12,500 claimer. She was bred by Gordon Bithell.
Lily Kai, out of the Northern Afleet mare Amadamprez, won the fourth race, a Cal-bred allowance. She was bred by owner Donald Dizney.
Cheekaboo, out of the Souvenir Copy mare Sandy Cheeks, won the eighth race, the $100,000 Campanile Stakes. She was bred by Madeline Auerbach, Richard Rosenberg and Barry Abrams.
