Twice the Appeal Gets First Winner

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 24, 2017) – California stallion Twice the Appeal was represented by his first winner on Thursday when Twisted Rosie won the sixth race at Del Mar, a $50,000 maiden claimer for fillies and mares.

Twisted Rosie is out of the Distinctive Cat mare Hurricane Rose, was bred by Edward Brown, is owned by Edward Brown Jr. and is trained by Jeff Bonde.

Twisted Rosie ran the 5 ½ furlongs in 1:05.48 and won by 1 ¾ lengths at odds of 5-2.
