From Rancho San Miguel

SAN MIGUEL, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2016) — Joseph LaCombe Stables, Inc.’s Typhoon Slew had his first foal drop on February 6, a gray colt out of Babes Bridge It.

Typhoon Slew is a graded stakes-placed winner by Stormy Atlantic and is a half-brother to Slew’s Tiznow, the 2015 leading freshman sire in California.

“The new Typhoon Slew colt is very forward acting and has that terrific balanced appearance and scope of his sire,” said Clay Murdock, farm manager.

Babes Bridge It is by Maria’s Mon and she earned over $103,000 in her racing career; her first foal was a $62,000 Barretts yearling by Slew’s Tiznow. Her newborn colt was bred by Eagle Ridge Racing LLC.

Typhoon Slew will stand his second year at stud for the fee of $1,000 live foal.
