Ultimate Eagle Changes Ownership

From Special T Thoroughbreds

TEMECULA, Calif. (May 29, 2015) – Stallion and Grade I winner Ultimate Eagle has changed ownership.  The new owner is Blackbird Thoroughbreds and they are very excited to have purchased Ultimate Eagle, who earned $547,800 winning the Grade I Hollywood Derby on the turf and Grade II Oak Tree and Grade II Strub Stakes on the dirt, defeating Breeders Cup Champion Tapizar by over 10 lengths.

Kelly Cassidy, part owner of Blackbird Thoroughbreds, is happy to be involved with a true Classic Grade I winner. She likes to call him “My ultimate wire-to-wire sire with a triple digit Beyer,” and the only Mizzen Mast bloodline on the West Coast.

Ultimate Eagle will remain at Special T Thoroughbreds in Temecula.  The new owners encourage late foaling mare owners to inquire about the 17-hand athlete for a discounted stud fee.  All inquiries should be directed to Rick Taylor, owner of Special T Thoroughbreds.
