Unusual Heat Triple at Gold Rush

ARCADIA, Calif. (May 29, 2016) – Perennial leading California stallion Unusual Heat was represented by three winners on Saturday’s Gold Rush Day card at Santa Anita.

In the third race, How Unusual won an optional claimer by 4 ¼ lengths as the 4-5 favorite. The 3-year-old filly is out of the Bartok mare Veela and was bred by Madeline Auerbach and Barry Abrams.

In the seventh race, Infinite Loop won a maiden special weight by 3 ½ lengths at odds of 5-2. The 4-year-old colt is out of the Affirmed mare Midnite Mama and was bred by Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Todd.

In the ninth race, Packin Heat won a maiden special weight by one-half length at odds of 14-1. The 3-year-old gelding out of the Meadowlake mare Lake Marina was bred by Liberty Road Stables.
