ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2016) — California-bred What a View drew the rail in a field of 14 entered in Saturday’s $2 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Mile at Santa Anita.
He is by Vronsky, out of the Manila mare Oceans N Mountains, was bred by Old English Rancho, Patsy Berumen and Sal Berumen, is owned by Finish Line Racing, the Ellwood Johnston Trust, et al and is trained by Kenny Black.
He has six wins in 13 starts, earnings of $595,481 and is coming off an eighth in the Oct. 8 Shadwell Turf Mile.
