ARCADIA, Calif. (May 17, 2017) – Grade I winner What a View and streaking Pee Wee Reese are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Crystal Water Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Santa Anita.

What a View is by Vronsky, out of the Manila mare Oceans N Mountains, was bred by Old English Rancho, Patsy Berumen and Sal Bermen, is owned by Finish Line Racing, Ellwood Johnston Trust or T.O.V. Stables and is trained by Kenny Black. He has six wins in 19 starts, earnings of $764,326 and is coming off a sixth in the Apr. 14 Maker’s 46 Mile.

Smokey Image is by Southern Image, out of the Free House mare Special Smoke, was bred by C Punch Ranch, is owned by Irvin Racing Stable and trained by Carla Gaines. He has six wins in 12 starts, earnings of $470,601 and is coming off a third in a Mar. 31 optional claimer.

Pee Wee Reese is by Tribal Rule, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Bluegrass Belle, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. He has four wins in seven starts, earnings of $179,990 and has a four-race win streak.
