Willa B Awesome Wins Barretts Debutante

POMONA, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2011) – Willa B Awesome pulled away from odds-on favorite Heleonor Rugby to win Saturday’s $89,900 Barretts Debutante for 2-year-old fillies and mares at Fairplex Park.

Willa B Awesome is by Awesome Gambler, out of the Nineeleven mare Cause I’m Tricky, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Daniels or London or Winters et al and is trained by Walther Solis.

She has two wins in six starts, earnings of $121,896 and was coming off a fifth in the Aug. 31 Generous Portion. She ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:19.16 and won by 2 ¾ lengths at odds of 9-2. Raesunbridledfaith was third.
