SHAKOPEE, Minn. (May 20, 2021) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Minister of Soul is the lone California-bred entered in Thursday’s $50,000 Honor the Hero Stakes at Canterbury Park.
Minister of Soul is a multiple-stakes winner by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Bernstein mare Sensitive Soul, was bred by Dahlberg Farms and is owned by trainer Esteban Martinez.
The $16,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has nine wins in 28 starts, earnings of $249,338 and is coming off a third in an Apr. 13 allowance.
