INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2013) – Favored Super Ability led all the way to win Saturday’s $70,000 Grey Memo Stakes for California-breds on the Gold Rush XIV card at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Super Ability is by Langfuhr, out of the High Brite mare Super High, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Harris Farms or Iconic Thoroughbreds, was trained by Carla Gaines and ridden by Martin Garcia.
He has two wins in four starts, earnings of $90,100 and was coming off an Apr. 7 maiden win.
Super Ability ran the seven furlongs in 1:22.83 and won by three lengths at odds of 2-1. Raised a Secret was second and Memphis third in the field of eight.
