From Los Alamitos Race Course
CYPRESS, Calif. (May 10, 2014) — Two Grade I juvenile stakes in California will have a new home in 2014. The $500,000 guaranteed Los Alamitos Futurity, formerly run as the Cash Call Futurity for 2-year-olds, and the $350,000 guaranteed Starlet for 2-year-old fillies, will now be run at Los Alamitos Race Course in 2014 after being previously held at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Nomination forms for both of these events are now available at losalamitos.com and the original nominations will close on Thursday, May 15. Both will be contested at a mile and one sixteenth. Send nominations to Bob Moreno, Thoroughbred Racing Secretary at Los Alamitos Race Course.
