My Fiona Returns in Generous Portion

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 24, 2014) – CTBA Stakes winner My Fiona and runner-up Lost Bus return in Wednesday’s $150,000 Generous Portion Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

My Fiona is by Ghostzapper, out of the Two Punch mare A Vision in Gray, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Tom Beckerle, Lovingier and Amanda Navarro and is trained by Walther Solis. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $105,600 and is coming off a win in the July 18 CTBA Stakes.

Lost Bus is by Bring the Heat, out of the Stavinsky mare Frysland, was bred by owners John Haagsma & Wesley Ward and is trained by Ward. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $52,600 and is coming off a second in the July 18 CTBA Stakes.

Singing Kitty is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Natural Singer R.N., was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and trained by Steven Miyadi. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $37,600 and is coming off a fifth in the July 18 CTBA Stakes.

Princess Bertrando is by Bertrando, out of the Giant’s Causeway mare Causeway R.N., was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Philip Lebherz, Al Mariani and George and Mary Clare Schmitt and is trained by Jeff Bonde.
