ARCADIA, Calif. (May 2, 2015) – Richard’s Boy rallied between horses to win Saturday’s $92,500 Desert Code Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller.
Richard’s Boy has four wins in five starts, earnings of $187,840 and was coming off a third in the Apr. 4 Echo Eddie.
He ran the about 6 ½ furlongs down the hill in 1:14.61 and won by a neck as the 9-5 favorite in the field of seven.
