FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2015) – Defending champion Downtown C. T. takes on multiple graded winner G. G. Ryder in Sunday’s $50,000 Bull Dog Handicap at Fresno.
Atomic Rule is by Tribal Rule, out of the Rahy mare, Atomic Number, was bred by Joseph Duffel, is owned by Charlie Dunn, Gordon Jarniq and Ray McCanna and is trained by Tim McCanna. He has nine wins in 25 starts, earnings of $196,433 and is coming off a second in a Sept. 5 optional claimer.
Downtown C. T. is by Crafty C. T., out of the Bertrando mare Downtown Tali, was bred by Ellen Jackson, is owned by Robert Cannon and is trained by Alfredo Marquez. He has seven wins in 34 starts, earnings of $232,855 and is coming off a fifth in a Sept. 20 optional claimer. He won this race last year.
Eagle Screams is by Redattore, out of the Free House mare Dreamy Jeanie, was bred by Don Eidson, is owned by M.A. Douzos and is trained by Gil Matos. He has eight wins in 41 starts, earnings of $324,331 and is coming off a fourth in the Sept. 7 Rolling Green.
