ARCADIA, Calif. (June 29, 2017) – California-breds Gorgeous Ginny and Empress of Lov are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Landaluce Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Gorgeous Ginny is by Take Charge Indy, out of the Southern Halo mare Brooke’s Halo, was bred by Mercedes Stable, is owned by Randy Howg and trained by Robertino Diodoro. She won her lone start May 4 and has earnings of $32,400.
Empress of Lov is by Empire Way, out of the Not For Love mare Angela’s Love, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Tom London, Lovingier and Eugene Zondlo and trained by Gary Sherlock. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $46,440 and is coming off a June 16 maiden win.
