Moonless Sky is by Bold Chieftain, out of the Chief’s Crown mare Curtsy, was bred by Willow Tree Farm, is owned by Pappas Racing and trained by Eddie Truman. She has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $181,150 and is coming off a fourth in a July 19 optional claimer.
Majestic Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Ole mare Chi Chi Nette, was bred by Madeline Auerbach and Barry Abrams, is owned by Auerbach, McCauley or Bardy Farm and is trained by Richard Mandella. She has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $267,139 and is making her first start since fourth in the Nov. 6 Goldikova. She won this race last year.
