LAUREL, Md. (Jan. 25, 2014) – Winning Image, a Kentucky-bred daughter of California stallion Southern Image, won Saturday’s $100,000 What a Summer Stakes for fillies and mares at Laurel Park.
Winning Image ran the six furlongs in 1:10.37 and won by 1 ¾ lengths at odds of 7-2. She is out of the California-bred stakes-winning Apollo mare Harvest Girl and has 12 wins in 25 starts and earnings of $585,637.
