DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 3, 2018) – California stallion Capital Account was represented by his first winner in Monday’s first race at Del Mar when Feeling Strong won a maiden special weight race for California-bred 2-year-olds.
Feeling Strong is out of the Choctaw Ridge mare Feel Ridge, was bred by owner BG Stables and is trained by Hector Palma.
The 2-year-old gelding ran the six furlongs in 1:12.63 and won by one length as the 3-2 favorite in the field of six.
BG Stables also bred and owns Jump the Tracks, winner of Del Mar’s third race on Monday, a maiden claimer.
