Grecian Fire in Joseph T. Grace Stakes

ALBANY, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2019) – Graded stakes winner Grecian Fire and Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Camino del Paraiso and Grecian Fire are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Joseph T. Grace Stakes at Golden Gate.

Camino del Paraiso is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Glen Road Racing or Paradise Road Ranch and is trained by O.J. Jauregui. He has four wins in 30 starts, earnings of $279,152 and is coming off a second in a Sept. 1 allowance.

Grecian Fire is by Unusual Heat, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Maddie’s Odyssey, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux. The $5,000 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has six wins in 27 starts, earnings of $408,553 and is coming off a sixth in the Sept. 28 John Henry Turf Championship.
