CHRB Meeting Advisory

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 18, 2020) — The California Horse Racing Board will conduct a noticed meeting on Monday, July 20, beginning at 9:30 a.m. In accordance with Executive Order N-29-20, this meeting will be conducted via teleconference. No physical location will be provided. The public is encouraged to participate. An audio-only webcast of the meeting can be heard through a link on the CHRB website (webcast). Individuals also may join the teleconference by dialing 888-392-4564 and entering 4642216# when prompted.

After joining the teleconference, individuals may speak once the chairman has invited public comment by pressing star 1 to signal the operator. There is only one agenda item for this emergency meeting:

Discussion and action by the Board regarding the Board’s action on July 10, 2020 to place on probation the license to conduct a horse race meet for the Los Alamitos Quarter Horse Racing Association (QH) at Los Alamitos Race Course, running December 27, 2019, through December 22, 2020, pending a plan of action from the licensee to reduce fatalities, pursuant to CHRB Rule 1435.

Speakers must confine their remarks to this specific agenda item within the time limits set by the chairman.
