DEL MAR, Calif. (July 24, 2020) – Soi Phet Stakes winner Galilean and Northern California Yearling Sale graduates Take the One O One and Camino Del Paraiso are among the entrants in Sunday’s $125,000 California Dreamin’ Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Del Mar.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Camino Del Paraiso is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Paradise Road Ranch and trained by O.J. Jauregui. The $5,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has five wins in 37 starts, earnings of $400,192 and is coming off a third in the June 14 San Francisco Mile. He was fourth in this race in 2018.
Galilean is by Uncle Mo, out of the El Prado mare Fresia, was bred by Bar C Racing Stables, is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds, Barker or Sandbrook, et al and is trained by John Sadler. He has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $442,848 and is coming off a win in the June 27 Soi Phet.
Brandothebartender is by Tribal Rule, out of the Stravinsky mare Frysland, was bred by John Haagsma & Wesley Ward, is owned by Flawless Racing, Flangan or Jarvis and is trained by Craig Dollase.
