DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 15, 2020) – Four-time stakes winner Warren’s Showtime and fellow California-bred California Kook are entered in Saturday’s $250,000 Grade I Del Mar Oaks for 3-year-old fillies.
Warren’s Showtime is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Affirmative mare Warren’s Veneda, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Benjamin and Sally Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $430,251 and is coming off a third in the July 25 San Clemente.
California Kook is by Boisterous, out of the Comic Strip mare Kukaluka, was bred by owners Barber or Wachtel Stable and is trained by Peter Miller. She has two wins in seven starts, earnings of $117,762 and is coming off a second in a July 12 optional claimer.
