DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 28, 2020) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Big Fish is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Cecil B. DeMille Stakes for 2-year-olds at Del Mar.
Big Fish is by Mr. Big, out of the Into Mischief mare Perched, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by Legacy Ranch and trained by David Hofmans.
The $45,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has two wins in five starts, earnings of $111,000 and is coming off a fifth in the Oct. 4 Zuma Beach.
Also entered is Cotopaxi, an Irish-bred son of California stallion Sir Prancealot.
