ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2021) – Multiple graded winner Acclimate is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II San Marcos Stakes at Santa Anita.
Acclimate is by Acclamation, out of the Boundary mare Knows No Bounds, was bred by Old English Rancho, Sal Berumen and Patsy Berumen, is owned by The Ellwood Johnston Trust, Timmy Time Racing or Tevelde and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has six wins in 20 starts, earnings of $399,872 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 16 Unusual Heat Turf Classic, presented by City National Bank.
