ALBANY, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2021) – Misty Cat is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Luther Burbank Stakes for fillies and mares at Golden Gate.
Misty Cat is by Bluegrass Cat, out of the Bob and John mare Play Misty for Us, was bred by BKB Stables and is owned by trainer Daniel Franko.
She has two wins in 13 starts, earnings of $75,484 and is coming off a second in a July 23 optional claimer.
