ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2021) – Filly La Deuxieme Etoile, the lone California-bred, takes on the boys in Sunday’s $200,000 Zuma Beach Stakes for 2-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Supplemented for $4,000, La Deuxieme Etoile is by Nyquist, out of the Square Eddie mare La Premiere Etoile, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill.
She is a maiden making her fourth start with earnings of $22,210.
