LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 13, 2021) – Stakes winner Closing Remarks is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $500,000 Grade I Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes, presented by Dixiana, for 3-year-old fillies at Keeneland.
Closing Remarks is by Vronsky, out of the Unusual Heat mare Orange Cove, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Carla Gaines.
She has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $290,500 and is coming off a second in the Aug. 21 Del Mar Oaks.
