ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2021) – California-bred Closing Remarks is entered in Sunday’s $300,000 Grade I American Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Closing Remarks is by Vronsky, out of the Unusual Heat mare Orange Cove, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Carla Gaines.
She has two wins in 10 starts, earnings of $293,000 and is coming off a sixth in the Oct. 16 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
Eddie’s New Dream was also originally entered, but scratched to run instead in Sunday’s $200,000 Grade II La Brea Stakes.
