ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2022) – Undefeated Big Switch and fellow California-bred Big Shamrock are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Santa Ynez Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Big Switch is by Mr. Big, out of the Malibu Moon mare Two Faced Moon, was bred by owner George Krikorian and trained by John Sadler. She has won both starts with earnings of $141,750 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 5 Golden State Juvenile Fillies Stakes presented by PNC.
Big Shamrock is by Mr. Big, out of the Exchange Rate mare Irish Exchange, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by Featherton, Maslowski or Prince, et al and is trained by Dan Blacker. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $22,600 and is coming off a Dec. 12 maiden win.
