Cal-bred Pair Enters Glendale Stakes

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Feb. 6, 2022) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Little Miss Belle and fellow California-bred Stars of Bluegrass are entered in Friday’s $60,000 Glendale Stakes for fillies and mares at Turf Paradise.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Little Miss Belle is by Decarchy, out of the Silver Deputy mare Boca Belle, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Max Franklin and trained by Ryan Bratcher. The $1,300 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has three wins in 19 starts, earnings of $56,028 and is coming off a fourth in a Jan. 18 optional claimer.

Stars of Bluegrass is by Bluegrass Cat, out of the Strong Contender mare Stars Collide, was bred by owner Top Hat Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jonathan Wong. She has four wins in 21 starts, earnings of $77,908 and is coming off a third in a Feb. 1 starter optional claimer.
