ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2022) – Worse Read Sanchez is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $400,000 Grade II San Felipe Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita, which is worth 50 Kentucky Derby points to the winner.
He is by Square Eddie, out of the Tapit mare Walkingonadream, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill.
Worse Read Sanchez has one win in four starts, earnings of $62,220 and is coming off a second in a Feb. 4 optional claimer.
