Leggs Galore Gets Acid Test at Belmont

ELMONT, N.Y. (June 7, 2022) – California-bred Leggs Galore brings a three-stakes win streak into Saturday’s $500,000 Grade I Just a Game Stakes for fillies and mares at one mile on the Belmont Park turf course.

Leggs Galore is by Bayern, out of the Indian Charlie mare Cashing Tickets, was bred by owner William Sims and is trained by Phil D’Amato. Three of Leggs Galore’s four rivals in the race are trained by Chad Brown — Regal Glory, Speak of the Devil and In Italian.

She has nine wins in 14 starts, earnings of $621,588 and is coming off a win in the May 21 Mizdirection. She won the Grade II Monrovia at this distance on turf at Santa Anita Mar. 5.
