VANCOUVER, B.C. (July 3, 2022) – Regal Riot, a British Columbian-bred son of California stallion Jersey Town, won Sunday’s $50,000 Chris Loseth Handicap for 3-year-olds at Hastings Racecourse.
The winner is out of the On Target mare Regal Red and is a half-sibling to multiple stakes winner Wilo Kat.
Regal Riot has three wins in five starts, earnings of $61,045 and was coming off a win in the June 11 Ross McLeod Stakes. He ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.56 and won by three-quarters of a length at odds of 9-2.
