ARCADIA, Calif. (May 25, 2024) – California stallion Tough Sunday was represented by his first winner when the 3-year-old filly Neezer Dalton won Saturday’s third race at Santa Anita, a $50,000 maiden claimer.
Winning in her racing debut, Neezer Dalton is out of the Bertrando mare Hey Cowboy, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steven Miyadi.
She ran the 5 ½ furlongs in 1:05.27 and won by 2 ½ lengths in a field of six.
