AUBURN, Wash. (June 17, 2024) – Multiple stakes winner Daffodil Sweet returns from a 10-month layoff as the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Hastings Stakes for fillies and mares at Emerald Downs.
Daffodil Sweet is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Lion Heart mare Easy on My Heart, was bred by Michael Terry, is owned by One Horse Will Do and is trained by Marshall Allen.
She has 10 wins in 20 starts, earnings of $206,161 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 13 Emerald Distaff.
She was seventh in this race last year, third in 2022 and sixth in 2021.
