ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2024) – California-breds In the Air Tonight and Om N Joy are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Oak Leaf Stakes, presented by Oak Tree, for 2-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
In the Air Tonight is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Sky Mesa mare Angel Allie, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Chacon, Flores or Lovingier and is trained by Steve Knapp. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $108,400 and is coming off a second in the Sept. 2 Generous Portion.
Om N Joy is by Om, out of the Hard Spun mare Margie’s Minute, was bred by Jerry Baker & Connie Baker, is owned by Baker, Golovko or Scanlan, et al and is trained by Aggie Ordonez. She is a maiden making her third start with earnings of $18,000.
