WINNIPEG, Manitoba (June 21, 2025) — Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Just Trust Me and fellow California-bred Shankadopolous are entered in Tuesday’s $50,000 Golden Boy Stakes for 3-year-olds at Assiniboia Downs.
Shankadopolous is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Consolidator mare Pica, was bred by Ken Shaw and is owned by trainer Andre Ellis. He has one win in nine starts, earnings of $6,021 and is coming off a June 8 allowance win.
Just Trust Me is by Bodexpress, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Trust Fund Kitty, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Eugene Burns and trainer Dewey Williams. The $3,500 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $118,391 and is coming off three consecutive wins.
