Cal-Bred Registration

The applicant assumes full responsibility for the proper identification of the above foal as a California-bred and agrees that if it should later be proved ineligible, all moneys won in California-bred races and all breeder awards will be forfeited and refunded. I hereby certify that I fully understand the eligibility rule for registering a foal as a California-bred; i.e., the horse was dropped by a mare in California after being conceived in California, or that the horse was dropped by a mare in California and the mare remained in California to be next bred to a Thoroughbred stallion standing in California. (If the mare cannot be bred for two successive breeding seasons but remains in California during that period, her foal is considered to be a California-bred Thoroughbred.) I further certify that the above foal is qualified for registration as a California-bred under the applicable rule.
