Lovesick Blues in Saturday’s Riyadh Dirt Sprint

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Feb. 10, 2026) – California-bred Grade I winner Lovesick Blues makes his first start since the Breeders’ Cup Sprint with no easy task, as he’s entered in Saturday’s $2 million Group II Riyadh Dirt Sprint at King Abdulaziz Race Course.

Lovesick Blues is by Grazen, out of the Ministers Wild Cat mare Queenofhercastle, was bred by Nick Alexander, is owned by Mia Familia Racing Stable and trained by Librado Barocio. Regular rider Giavanni Franco will be aboard.

He has nine wins in 43 starts, earnings of $830,000 and was sixth in the Nov. 1 $2 million Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint at Del Mar.
