ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 17, 2026) — Streaking Man O Rose and California-bred champion Speedy Wilson tangle in Sunday’s $100,000 Sensational Star Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Santa Anita.
Man O Rose is by Stanford, out of the Good Journey mare Kathleen Rose, was bred by owner B & B Zietz Stables and trained by Jeff Mullins. He has 12 wins in 19 starts, earnings of $632,965 and brings with him a five-race win streak, all stakes.
Grade I-placed Speedy Wilson is by Tough Sunday, out of the Ministers Wild Cat mare Queenofhercastle, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. Last year’s Cal-bred champion 3-year-old male has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $337,988 and is coming off a fourth in the Jan. 17 Don Valpredo California Cup Sprint.
Flyover is by Om, out of the In Excess mare First Class Flyer, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by Integrity Thoroughbred Racing LLC, ITR LLC, The Ellwood Johnston Trust and Tevelde, Kenneth A. and trained by John Sadler.
