ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 28, 2022) – Multiple graded winner Acclimate, runner-up in this race last year, is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $225,000 Grade II San Marcos Stakes at Santa Anita.
Acclimate is by Acclamation, out of the Boundary mare Knows No Bounds, was bred by Old English Ranch, Sal Berumen & Patsy Berumen, is owned by The Ellwood Johnston Trust, Timmy Time Racing or Bartlett, et al and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has seven wins in 29 starts, earnings of $683,872 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 26 Hollywood Turf Cup.
