ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 9, 2022) – Multiple graded stakes winner Acclimate is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $125,000 Grade II San Luis Rey Stakes at Santa Anita.
Acclimate is by Acclamation, out of the Boundary mare Knows No Bounds, was bred by Old English Rancho, Sal Berumen & Patsy Berumen, is owned by The Ellwood Johnston Trust, Timmy Time Racing or Bartlett, et al and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has seven wins in 30 starts, earnings of $688,372 and is coming off a fifth in the Jan. 30 San Marcos. He was fourth in this race last year.
