LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 3, 2015) — In a visit to The Blood-Horse office Tuesday, California Chrome co-owner Perry Martin discussed future races for the chestnut colt, who is currently training at Newmarket for a start at Royal Ascot.

A tweet by The Blood-Horse‘s Frank Angst revealed that after the Prince of Wales’s Stakes later this month, Chrome would return stateside to race in the Arlington Million Aug. 15, then race in the G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup and the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland before retiring to stud in Kentucky.

The Prince of Wales’s will be California Chrome’s first start since a second-place finish in the Dubai World Cup March 28. The colt has earned $6,322,650 in 18 starts thus far, with nine wins on multiple surfaces.
