Alert Bay, second to What a View in the Turf Classic, pocketed $47,500 to increase his career earnings to $1,028,235. That made him the 62nd Cal-bred millionaire and 57th on the all-time earnings list as he climbed past Native Diver’s $1,026,500.
Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell and Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Blaine Wright. The multiple graded winner has 11 wins in 23 starts.
