Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell and Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Blaine Wright. He has eight wins in 14 starts, earnings of $754,707 and last ran and won the Jan. 24 California Cup Turf Classic.
Slycy is by Crafty C. T., out of the Comic Strip mare Lucy’s Wild Again, was bred by Windfall Farms and is owned by trainer Matthew Troy. He has 10 wins in 35 starts, earnings of $157,923 and has a four race win streak.
Rock Me Baby is by Rock Hard Ten, out of the Tale of the Cat mare Barbara Orr, was bred by Mercedes Stable, is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Craig Dollase. He has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $424,052 and is making his first start since a fourth in the Oct. 4 City of Hope.
