ARCADIA, Calif. (June 18, 2014) – Stakes winner Aotearoa and fellow California-bred Frensham are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Singletary Stakes at Santa Anita.
Frensham is by Square Eddie, out of the Formal Gold mare Farnham, was bred by J. Paul Reddan, is owned by Zillah Reddam and trained by Doug O’Neill. He has one win in six starts, earnings of $56,800 and is coming off a sixth in the June 7 Affirmed Stakes.
Aotearoa is by Good Journey, out of the Lil Tyler mare Madera Royal, was bred by owner Paul Viskovich and is trained by Leonard Powell. He has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $147,250 and is coming off a fifth in the June 8 Silky Sullivan.
